A mentorship initiative connecting Indian professionals in the US with young women in India — to land a first job, study further, or explore a career, and to believe their future is worth fighting for.
Across India, young women graduate with ambition and ability. Many are the first in their family to aim for a professional career, and have never spoken to someone who has done what they dream of doing.
Talent and motivation aren't the problem. Knowing how to turn a degree into a career, a first job or further study often is.
Young women from rural and underserved communities rarely meet ambitious women who look like them and have built something meaningful.
First-generation graduates have no one to ask about resumes, interviews or applying abroad. Without someone who has walked the path, it feels impossible.
The most powerful thing in a young woman's life is one person who consistently, genuinely believes she can go further.
A 30-minute hello, three 1-hour sessions and a 30-minute wrap-up, over three months, all on video. That's it. That's everything.
An Indian professional in the US fills in a short form, completes a 20-minute training and signs our Code of Conduct.
A young woman (18+) picks a track — land her first job, study further, or explore a career — and chooses her mentor from a shortlist.
A 30-minute intro call to get to know each other and agree on one goal for the three months.
Three 1-hour sessions using your real expertise. She leaves with a written plan, and a 30-minute wrap-up checks how it's going.

Join the First CohortGrowing up in India in a family of doctors and teachers, I was always humbled by the opportunities I had — in a country where many don't get their meals every day, where many never go to school, and where many have no access to proper healthcare.
Three years ago when I moved to the USA, I struggled to adapt to the education system. And soon I realised: my struggles were so small compared to that one girl sitting in a village in India — and that I could use my privilege of being educated here to help my own people.
That's when Kishreena Foundation came to light.
"I want every girl to have what I had — someone who believed in her before she believed in herself."
Kishreena is named after my grandfather Kishan Nathani — a cardiologist who helped patients regardless of how rich or poor they were — and my grandmother Reena Nathani, a teacher who educated many to find their own voice. I would not be here without their guidance, and their legacy lives in every young woman we mentor.
